Guided tours of oyster villages

The Arcachon Bay is famous for its picturesque oyster villages. During Heritage Day, guided tours are organized to allow visitors to discover the history of local oyster farming, visit traditional oyster cabins and taste fresh oysters. More information from the tourist offices.

Visit to the Cap-Ferret lighthouse

The Arcachon Bay is home to an emblematic lighthouse, the Cap Ferret lighthouse. Special tours are organized to allow visitors to explore these historic structures and learn more about their operation and history.

Visit to the Lège-Cap-Ferret Semaphore

This visit allows you to discover the daily life of the lookouts who, day and night, scan the horizon and remain attentive in the event of a distress call. Clad in electronic equipment labeled National Defense, the semaphore gateway is a site to which access is particularly controlled. This is the opportunity to enter one of the most secure areas of the Arcachon basin.
